Why Coaching?

Many people do not know the difference between counseling and coaching. There are specific benefits to each and some key differences. Counselors diagnose and prescribe medication and work 1:1 on mental health issues. Coaches spend time gathering information through inquiry and discovery, using a holistic approach to uncover why a client is suffering or stuck in habitual patterns. A CINHW Coach (Certified Integrative Health & Wellness Coach) works collaboratively with clients to provide guidance around nutrition, weight loss, exercise, spirituality, relational development, and career direction.
